The standard

How a Station Runs Here

  • Single-use needles, always. Sealed sterile cartridges opened in front of you and disposed of in a sharps container the moment your session ends. Nothing is ever re-used — on anyone, ever.
  • Delaware health code compliant. The shop operates to Delaware Division of Public Health requirements for tattoo and body-piercing establishments — facility standards, sanitation, and record-keeping included.
  • Bloodborne pathogen trained. Every artist keeps current bloodborne-pathogens and infection-prevention training — the same standard hospitals hold their staff to.
  • Sterilization, verified. Any non-disposable equipment runs through the autoclave with routine spore testing, so "sterile" is a test result here, not a promise.
  • Barrier everything. Machines, cords, bottles, and surfaces are barrier-wrapped for your session and stripped and disinfected before the next client sits down.
  • 18+ with government ID. No exceptions, no shortcuts. Consent forms and health disclosures are completed before the needle comes out.
  • Aftercare in writing. You leave with written aftercare instructions and the products to follow them — and a shop that answers the phone when you have a healing question.

LICENSED & INSPECTED

Skin Deep operates under Delaware Division of Public Health standards for tattoo and body-piercing establishments. The shop's license and inspection records are posted in the shop — ask any artist to walk you through them, and through the station, before you book.

Certifications on the wall

Licenses, inspection records, and artist certifications hang where you can read them — in the shop, not in a drawer. Ask us about any of it; we'll walk you through the station before you commit.

First tattoo nerves?

Normal. Tell us it's your first — we'll slow down, show you the sealed needle before we open it, and explain every step before it happens.
